Good work Geek Squad!  Hopefully you can tell what is going on in the picture, but just in case, the scene above is one I came upon while visiting Best Buy about a week ago.

As you can see, the T.V. “NOT professionally calibrated by Geek Squad” is functioning normally (although it appears they actually did intentionally calibrate the set poorly as the color temp is almost completely turned down), while the T.V. “Professionally calibrated by Geek Squad” is completely dark.

Now I figured someone might be playing a practical joke so I hit the power button, but no luck, the Geek Squad calibrated T.V. would not even turn on.

I think we have a new winner for the Most Convincing Sales Pitch award.
